A Word of Advice...

never let your husband answer the door when on the other side stands 2 little girl scouts selling COOKIES!!!! so now he's out of town and her comes 5 friggin' boxes of my favorite GS cookies. *please lord...give me the strength to restrain myself! ha ha ha not a good situation. the upside to having these 5 (now 4) boxes of cookies in our house is we have neighbor kids i can pawn them off on... i'm just not "pawning" fast enough. one for me, one for you!
lauren is now officially riding her bike w/o training wheels! yah!! she has amazing balance so i knew it wasn't going to take her long to catch on. we went up the street and back, twice and she was on her own. which is a good thing, i was on the verge of passing out. she made me run beside her!
welcome to missouri. we had a beautiful day yesterday...around 74 degrees, come 5:00 it's cloudy and i hear something about tornados. go figure, terry is out of town. never fails. but nothing came of it, thank goodness.
i have high hopes of getting a long list of things done this week so i should probably close this up and get at it! have a great week! hugs...

LOL on the cookies!! I know. I feel your pain.

I WISH you were here! I'm buying couches this week and I'd love your advice. I'll see if I can find a pic to send you to get your opinion. :)

That poor sitter! She probably went home and cried to her mom about how terrible watching 4 girls can be! LOL As far as gs cookies....never touch the stuff. Tastes too manufactured!

Boy! I'm so glad that we haven't had any girl scouts at our door in years. Maybe they just haven't come around this neighborhood yet! When they do I'm sure we'll be in trouble.
Yeah for Lauren too!!! How exciting for her to ride her bike with no training wheels. She's 5 isn't she? Same as my daughter. Maybe this spring (when the snow starts to melt and go away FOR GOOD! we'll get her started on that too!)

Enjoy your day!

I hear ya, except I am the one that ordered them this year. We have a neighbor girl who was selling and I bought a couple from her and then one of our doctor's daughter always sells them so of course I had to order 5 more boxes! They will be gone in no time, we don't have them yet, not sure when they will come. It sounds like the sitter had her hands full!
